Job Description As a Security Officer Mall Route Driver Patrol in Nottingham, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer for a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to support a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior common areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns. Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports while maintaining a professional presence that helps support a positive environment for occupants and visitors. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
