As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a welcoming experience for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, and help deter security-related incidents while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.70 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor access points, verify credentials, document visitor and contractor entry, and follow site procedures for vehicle, trailer, and package access. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site-specific procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and access-control activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Loss prevention experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
