Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Position in Eden Prairie, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor communications, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and support access and alarm-related operations. You will maintain a professional presence, provide clear communication and exceptional customer service, and help create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.95 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor communications systems, alarms, cameras, and other security-related technology; receive calls for service; and dispatch appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and emergency services as directed. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor information, and other required documentation while protecting confidential healthcare-related information. Coordinate routine and urgent communications with security-related personnel, facility staff, vendors, and first responders to support site operations. Minimum Requirements: At least two years of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
