As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Guest Services in Quakertown, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM Access Control/Badge Experience (B201) Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. Alarm Panel Experience (B202) Familiarity with alarm panel operations is required. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of alarm systems and protocols. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates must be comfortable navigating software applications and performing basic troubleshooting. CPR Certification (B205) Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification. Free training will be provided to those who do not have certification at the time of application. Customer Service Experience (B219) Previous experience in customer service roles is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Loss Prevention (B210) Experience in loss prevention strategies and practices is preferred. Candidates should be knowledgeable about theft prevention and inventory control measures. How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records. Monitor front-desk communications, answer incoming calls, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel, and coordinate notifications for arrivals, deliveries, and/or service providers. Observe access points and lobby activity, report suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and policy concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and documenting relevant details.
