Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driving Role in Fresno, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and support a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture at Allied Universal. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.55 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM Sun 09:30 AM - 04:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, delivery-yard concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailers, access points, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the facility and verify authorized personnel, visitors, and drivers according to site-specific procedures. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
