Job Description As a Security Officer Distribution Facility Morning Patrol in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will support access control and badge-related activities while communicating professionally with employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.80 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Thur 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential requirements in accordance with established site policies; report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Supervisory experience is required. A minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute is required. CPR certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
