As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.75 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 05:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sun 05:00 AM - 10:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail areas, stockroom access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and customer traffic; observe for suspicious activity, theft-related concerns, and policy violations, and report findings according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
