You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, greet visitors, maintain awareness of security-related activity, and help to deter incidents through a visible, professional presence. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.73 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access records in accordance with site requirements. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized access and report unusual activity. Assist with maintaining an orderly flow of personnel and vehicles at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while providing clear directions and professional communication. Minimum Requirements: A Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
