Job Description As a Security Officer Dispatch Driving Role in Sparks, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional supporting a utilities location, you will coordinate communications, monitor alarms and access activity, and support response to security-related incidents. You will maintain clear records, provide professional customer service, and help promote a secure environment through teamwork and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $29.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to utility operations personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, and other site systems; receive and document calls for service; and coordinate the appropriate response to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, shift activity records, and communications with field personnel and site contacts. Coordinate routine and urgent communications with patrol personnel, facility staff, emergency responders, and/or approved vendors in accordance with established procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols around utility facilities and perimeter areas as assigned, reporting unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance-related observations. Minimum Requirements: Possess supervisory experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
