As a Dispatch Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor communications, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, manage access control activity, and support alarm and badge operations. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment through clear communication, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor incoming calls, radio traffic, alarm notifications, and communications systems; document, prioritize, and dispatch appropriate personnel in accordance with established procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinate communications with site contacts and/or emergency responders, and maintain accurate incident records. Maintain dispatch logs, activity reports, and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to supervisors and on-site personnel. Help to deter unauthorized activity by monitoring assigned systems and reporting suspicious conditions, access concerns, and/or equipment issues in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
