Job Description As a Security Officer Dispatch Communications Driver in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatcher at a dynamic technology location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses to security-related needs. You will help maintain access control awareness, provide exceptional customer service, and collaborate with onsite teams while using computer-based systems. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon01:30 PM - 10:15 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:45 PMWed01:30 PM - 10:15 PMThur01:30 PM - 10:15 PMSun01:30 PM - 10:15 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, incidents, and routine requests to appropriate personnel in a timely and professional manner. Monitor communication systems, alarm activity, access control notifications, and/or video feeds; document relevant information and escalate concerns according to site-specific procedures. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, visitor information, and shift communications while protecting confidential operational information. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders as directed by established procedures. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
