Security Dispatcher

Alliance Protective Group, inc. is seeking dependable, professional, and highly organized Security Dispatchers to join our operations team in New York City. We are currently hiring for evening and overnight shifts. The Security Dispatcher serves as a central point of communication between security officers, supervisors, patrol personnel, management, and client locations. This position requires someone who can remain calm under pressure, communicate professionally, multitask effectively, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced security environment. Responsibilities Monitor and maintain communication with security officers assigned to multiple client locations. Confirm officers are on-site and report for scheduled shifts on time. Receive and document employee call-outs, lateness, emergencies, incidents, and other operational issues. Coordinate with supervisors and management when emergency coverage or replacement officers are required. Dispatch patrol officers and supervisors to locations when necessary. Maintain accurate daily dispatch logs and incident records. Monitor scheduling and secuirty operations systems, including TrackTik. Communicate professionally with clients when operational issues require immediate attention. Follow established escalation procedures and notify the Manager on Duty or senior management when necessary. Assist officers with site-related questions and operational concerns. Conduct scheduled check-ins with officers and locations. Monitor open posts and assist operations management with obtaining coverage. Document all significant communications and activities occurring during the shift. Immediately escalate emergencies, serious incidents, or situations that could impact client service. Maintain confidentiality regarding employees, clients, incidents, and company operations. Qualifications Previous experience in security dispatch, security operations, emergency communications, customer service. Security industry experience is strongly preferred Strong verbal and written communications skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies or high-pressure situations. Comfortable working with computers, scheduling systems, email, and Microsoft Office. Experience with TrackTik or similar security management software is a plus. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. Must be comfortable communicating with security officers, supervisors, clients and senior management. We are looking for someone who is reliable, assertive, organized, responsive, and capable of handling multiple situations at the same time. This is not simply a phone-answering position. Out dispatchers are expected to actively monitor operations, identify potential coverage or service issues,, communicate with the appropriate personnel, and ensure issues are properly documented and escalated.
