Security Dispatch Operator

Job Overview *The Job is set to start in early August, Please continue to apply if you are willing to wait* Linkstar Solution is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Dispatcher to join our Security Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems, documenting security incidents, coordinating with on-site security officers, and maintaining accurate records to support a safe and secure environment. This position is ideal for someone who remains calm under pressure, has excellent communication skills, and can effectively multitask in a fast-paced security operations center. Responsibilities Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems continuously. Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or security threats. Dispatch security officers to incidents and communicate important information in real time. Create accurate incident reports, logs, and daily activity reports. Assist with investigations by reviewing surveillance footage and collecting relevant information. Maintain detailed records in accordance with company policies and procedures. Coordinate with supervisors, emergency responders, and other departments when necessary. Monitor alarms, access control systems, and other security equipment. Provide shift updates and ensure smooth communication during shift changes. Perform other security-related administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in security, dispatch, surveillance, law enforcement, emergency communications, or a related field is preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills. Comfortable using computers, CCTV software, and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to write clear, accurate incident reports. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergency situations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or GED required. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or dispatch environment. Experience monitoring CCTV and access control systems. Knowledge of basic security procedures and emergency response protocols. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while monitoring surveillance systems. Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods. Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations when necessary.
