The Second Shift Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations during the second shift to ensure the efficient, accurate, and safe handling of products. This role coordinates daily activities including order fulfillment, shipping, inventory movement, and team workflow while maintaining company standards for quality, safety, and productivity.


The supervisor provides leadership and guidance to warehouse team members while ensuring operational goals and customer expectations are met.

Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM 


Key Responsibilities 


 Warehouse Operations

  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities during the second shift
  • Ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders
  • Monitor workflow and assign tasks to maintain productivity and meet daily objectives
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and system updates
  • Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards are maintained
  • Assist with resolving operational issues that may arise during the shift

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and support warehouse associates to ensure strong performance and engagement
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety practices, and company standards
  • Monitor employee performance and provide feedback to support development
  • Promote a positive and productive team environment

Safety and Compliance

  • Enforce company safety policies and safe equipment operation
  • Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment including forklifts and material handling equipment
  • Report safety concerns, incidents, and operational issues as needed

Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate with warehouse leadership and other departments to ensure smooth operational flow
  • Assist with inventory movement, receiving, and shipping processes as needed
  • Monitor equipment and facility needs and communicate maintenance requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in warehouse operations including picking, inspecting, shipping, and receiving
  • Experience working within an ERP system - Epicor Prophet 21 experience a plus
  • Experience with QuickShip or similar shipping software
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
