Seasonal Warehouse Assistant

Employment Type: Seasonal Part-Time Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and organized Warehouse Assistant to support the daily operations of our growing retail business. This role is responsible for receiving inventory, processing orders, maintaining accurate stock levels, and ensuring the warehouse remains clean, safe, and efficient. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable of handling inventory, and committed to providing excellent support to the company's retail and customer fulfillment operations. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments. Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations. Pick, pack, and prepare customer and store orders for shipment or delivery. Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently. Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliations. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management or inventory software. Label, sort, and stock merchandise as required. Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Assist with returns processing, including inspection and restocking of merchandise. Report damaged, missing, or low-stock items to management. Support other warehouse and operational tasks as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or retail inventory experience is an advantage. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday. Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Preferred Skills Experience with barcode scanners and inventory management software. Familiarity with shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS. Basic problem-solving and communication skills.
