Seasonal Sales Associate

We're looking for a mature, self motivated individual who is open to learn new things while assisting customers in our baking supply store. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management Maintain accurate stock levels through stocking, merchandising, and inventory management activities Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Handle retail sales transactions smoothly while adhering to phone etiquette and communication standards Support store cleanliness and organization by assisting with stock replenishment and visual merchandising efforts Requirements Previous retail sales experience or familiarity with POS systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash register operations, retail math calculations, and cash handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Willingness to learn about products and services we offer Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise as needed, and work flexible hours during peak seasons Hours would be Tues-Fri 11:30-4pm. This is a seasonal position that may end at Christmas, but the opportunity to stay on board is possible.
