Seasonal PT Supervisor

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Seasonal Part-Time Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations during peak periods. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily distribution center activities, coordinate team efforts, and ensure efficient inventory management. Your leadership will drive process improvements, uphold safety standards, and maintain seamless logistics flow. Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling operations Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and managerial communication to foster a productive work environment Operate and oversee the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods Implement process improvements using lean management principles to optimize warehouse workflows and reduce waste Maintain accurate inventory records utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems like AS400 Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and enforce safety protocols across all warehouse operations Coordinate logistics for distribution center operations, including shipping & receiving schedules and inventory replenishment Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, or related warehouse operations with supervisory or team leadership responsibilities Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory management practices Ability to operate heavy lifting equipment such as forklifts safely; forklift certification preferred Familiarity with materials handling equipment operation, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar platforms Excellent managerial communication skills with experience managing teams in fast-paced environments Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and material handling tasks regularly Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes Prior experience in distribution center operations or warehouse supervisor roles is highly desirable Join us as a Seasonal PT Supervisor to lead with energy, streamline processes, and ensure our warehouse runs smoothly during busy seasons.
