Seasonal Package Handler
AMIR ENTERPRISESJob Summary Join our seasonal team as a Package Handler and help keep shipments moving smoothly from arrival to dispatch. You’ll sort packages and mail, load and unload shipments, and use warehouse equipment and scanning tools to support accurate, timely distribution. The role involves active work, including lifting and working indoors or outdoors as needed. Duties Sort packages and mail by destination, shipment type, or processing instructions. Load and unload shipments; move materials safely using manual handling methods and material handling equipment. Use an RF (radio frequency) scanner and enter shipment information accurately. Support shipping and receiving, mail processing, and warehouse distribution tasks; operate automatic inserting machines when assigned. Keep work areas organized, follow safe warehouse procedures, and assist with basic filing or customer service tasks as needed. Your impact: Accurate sorting and careful handling help customers and delivery teams receive the right shipments on time. Experience Ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive manual handling, and to work outdoors when assigned. Strong organizational skills, basic math, and attention to detail. Warehouse experience, warehouse operations, or shipment sorting experience is helpful but not required. Experience with forklift operation, material handling equipment, or load-and-unload tasks is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, data entry, mail distribution, mail processing, filing, or customer service is a plus.
