Seasonal Order Picker and Packer

Seasonal Order Picker & Fruit Packer Capital City Fruit is packing seasonal orders for 4 Seasons Fundraising which provides quality fundraising items to school and community organizations in Iowa and the upper Midwest since 1970! Are you looking for an opportunity to earn some extra cash for the upcoming holidays?! Prior experience not required. Positions require background check and taking a lift test. We are looking for Order Pickers & Packers to help assemble and ship school and other organizations' fundraising orders during our peak season of Mid October - Mid-December (assignment ends approx. December 15th). Pay Rate = $17/hour Order Pickers & $15/hr Fruit Packers Adults and $14.00/hr 14 yrs through 17 yrs old Schedule Options: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or Monday - Friday 5 PM-9PM (schedule is dictated by order shipping dates) Order Pickers & Packers will pick, pack, scan and palletize orders. This position may require stocking flow racking, and processing e-commerce orders. Fruit Packers will pack fruit only items into boxes as a part of assembly line operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES Order Pickers Pick orders from flow racking (typically small bags of nuts, candy, cheese, assembling baskets of fruit, etc.) Pack orders into corrugated boxes. Scan orders. Palletize/hand stack finished orders Hand wrap finished pallets and label Stock flow racking Ship eCommerce Orders via Computer (will train) Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Occupational Safety Procedures and all Food Safety guidelines related to the position or being on the Warehouse floor. Fruit Packers Park of an assembly line repacking bulk fruit into boxes or baskets Work is directed by supervisor QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
