Seasonal Inventory Associate

Summary A Seasonal Inventory Associate is an entry level position that helps with overnight and early morning store replenishment and stock room upkeep. Basic duties include pulling merchandise from the stock room and transporting it to the store, restocking and appropriately merchandising shelves, which is the key to the Bunnies By The Bay Experience inside FAO Schwarz. This position reports to the FAO Store Manager and Assistant Inventory Manager. Dates Start: November 16, 2026 End: January 9, 2027 Responsibilities Deliver and lead 24/7 24 carrot customer service from greeting, product teaching, selling, gift wrap, personalization service when interacting with customers at the beginning or ending of a shift Help customers with brand and product questions and drive sales through engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. Greet customers when they walk into the area, building rapport through conversation and honest recommendations. Assist in maintaining merchandising plans based on planograms. Collaborate with fellow team members to keep the sales floor and stock area clean and always organized. Qualifications A minimum of 1 year of relevant retail stock experience is required, preferably specialty retail. Must have excellent communication skills in the written and verbal format. Must possess strong problem solving and organizational skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Proven ability to work in a team or single environment with good interpersonal skills. Physical Requirements/Work Environment (if applicable): Frequently is required to stand and move about work space. Frequently required to stoop or kneel and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
