Seasonal Fulfillment Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Position Overview The Seasonal Fulfillment Supervisor provides hands-on leadership and daily operational support for picking, packing, and shipping activities at our Obetz fulfillment facility during peak seasonal operations. This position is responsible for coordinating daily workflows, directing seasonal associates, monitoring productivity, and ensuring orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. The ideal candidate is a dependable, results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, can effectively manage large teams, and is comfortable working alongside associates to meet demanding production and shipping goals. This is a temporary, hourly leadership position designed to support increased operational demands during our busiest season. Scope of Responsibility Provide daily supervision and direction to fulfillment associates, including seasonal employees. Support shift-level performance goals related to productivity, order accuracy, safety, and on-time shipping. Coordinate picking, packing, and shipping activities to maintain operational efficiency. Monitor employee performance, attendance, and adherence to operational procedures. Partner with Fulfillment Management to address staffing needs, workflow challenges, and operational priorities. Key Responsibilities Operational Execution & Shift Leadership Supervise daily picking, packing, and shipping operations to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Assign associates to work areas based on staffing levels, order volume, and operational priorities. Monitor workflow throughout the shift and adjust labor assignments as needed. Identify and communicate operational bottlenecks, equipment issues, and staffing concerns. Provide hands-on support to fulfillment operations when necessary to meet business demands. Communicate shift priorities, production expectations, and operational updates to associates. Performance Management & Accountability Monitor daily productivity, order accuracy, and fulfillment performance against established goals. Track employee performance and provide real-time coaching and feedback. Identify productivity concerns and escalate recurring performance issues to Fulfillment Management. Assist with attendance tracking, timekeeping accuracy, and workforce accountability. Support effective labor utilization to meet production demands while minimizing unnecessary downtime. Maintain accurate shift reports and communicate operational results to management. Team Leadership & Development Provide daily direction, coaching, and support to seasonal fulfillment associates. Assist with onboarding, training, and integrating new employees into fulfillment operations. Reinforce company policies, attendance expectations, and workplace standards. Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment. Address employee concerns appropriately and escalate employee relations matters to Fulfillment Management or HR. Support performance documentation and corrective action processes in partnership with management and HR. Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with Inventory Control, Shipping, and other Operations teams to maintain efficient order fulfillment. Communicate inventory shortages, replenishment needs, and shipping delays. Coordinate with other supervisors and shift leaders to ensure smooth operational transitions. Provide staffing and production updates to Fulfillment Management. Support seasonal staffing ramps and adjustments based on daily order volume. Safety, Compliance & Quality Ensure associates follow company safety policies, operational procedures, and established quality standards. Reinforce proper material handling, equipment operation, and warehouse safety practices. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
