Seasonal Fulfillment/Flex Associate

We specialize in providing flexible, custom direct-to-consumer (D2C) and business-to-business (B2B) fulfillment, project coordination, kitting, and warehousing services for organizations of all sizes. Role Overview The holiday season is our busiest time of the year, and we need help! We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Seasonal Fulfillment/Flex Associates to join our team during peak periods (November 1st-February 1st). In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring efficient and accurate order picking and packing, inventory management, and warehouse operations. This is a flex position, and while primary job duties include fulfillment, your day to day will vary dependent on warehouse needs. Please expect to be cross trained in different departments (kitting, receiving, general warehouse, etc) and moved through departments as needed. This is a seasonal position, but depending on performance and need after the holidays, this role has the opportunity to develop into a full-time position if mutually agreed. Key Responsibilities: Accurately pick items using electronic pick tickets, barcode scanners, and tablets, ensuring the correct product, size, and quantity is picked. Occasional printed pick ticket picking required Inspect items for damage or defects, ensuring product meets quality standards Pack items securely in appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit while confirming order pick accuracy Prepare orders for shipment by weighing and measuring parcels, printing labels, affixing them to boxes, and organizing packages for the shipping carrier Assist with inventory by managing inventory levels accurately through stock replenishment, stock rotation, and cycle counting within warehouse management systems Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation, inspecting goods for quality control, and loading and unloading trucks Assist with production by accurately assembling kits through following a written or visual sample and following quality procedures by properly counting, sorting, organizing, inserting, labeling, and sealing kits Maintain clean and organized workstations and warehouse areas by putting items back in designated locations and stocking shelves with packing materials, etc Adhere to safety protocols, including proper handling of materials and lifting techniques, and while using material handling equipment like pallet jacks Follow and adhere to cGMP and quality processes and procedures Experience: Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management systems is a plus Experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks is highly desirable Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for inventory management and order fulfillment Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Join us as a Seasonal Fulfillment/Flex Associate to become an essential part of our dedicated team! Weekends and overtime (1.5x pay) are required as needed. Workday includes two 10-minute paid breaks and 30-minute unpaid lunch. As this is a seasonal position, company benefits are not extended; however, PTO will be issued following Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act (PLAWA).
