Seasonal Forklift Operator
ConfidentialNow Hiring: Seasonal Forklift Operator Location: Harlingen, TX Brand: Pittman & Davis Classification: Hourly / Seasonal Pittman & Davis is seeking dependable and flexible Seasonal Forklift Operator to support our warehouse and packinghouse operations during the busy citrus season. While forklift operation is a core function of this role, responsibilities are not limited to driving . Team members must be willing and able to assist with general warehouse tasks, physical labor, and production support as needed. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position where duties may change throughout the day based on workload and operational needs. Our ideal candidate is safety-minded, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. General Responsibilities Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and stage products and materials. Support packinghouse operations, including helping move pallets, cartons, foam, and fruit bins. Assist with loading and unloading trucks, including manual lifting when needed. Maintain product organization within the warehouse and racking system. Perform daily forklift inspections and report mechanical or safety issues. Identify and communicate any workplace safety hazards. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions. Perform additional warehouse or packinghouse duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience (required). Warehouse experience preferred. Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to follow safety rules and operate equipment responsibly. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as part of daily duties. Must be able to work the full seasonal schedule, including December peak periods. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting daily priorities. Physical Demands & Work Environment This is an active, fast-paced role in a warehouse and packinghouse environment.
