Seasonal Delivery Driver

Must be at least 21 to apply Valleywide Logistics is hiring motivated Delivery Drivers (Delivery Associates) for residential & commercial delivery. The Delivery Associate is a highly valued position as they will be responsible for delivering Amazon packages to homes, apartments, and businesses in a company-provided vehicle. This job is for motivated individuals with a great attitude. As a Delivery Associate, it will be necessary to think on your feet to make successful deliveries while maintaining focus and providing great customer service. Includes weekdays, weekends, and/or holidays We operate 7 days a week, 361 days a year Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays Qualifications and Skills Represent the team with a positive and service-oriented attitude Effective communication Delivery driving experience such as Lyft, Fed Ex, UPS, etc. is a PLUS Maintain equipment with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability History of excellent attendance Highly adaptable in a fast-paced dynamic environment Goal-oriented with the ability to problem solve and meet targets What to expect on a typical day: Device loaded with the pre-determined route and delivery estimates for each delivery Perform a pre-trip vehicle inspection thoroughly checking the van for damage Deliver up to 300+ packages at a quick even pace Be on your feet up to 9 -12 hours per day Follow all delivery instructions Help fellow team members as needed Return van to station after refueling and removing trash from van Perform post trip inspection noting any required maintenance items Requirements Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record Must pass a 4-panel Drug Screening Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver’s license Fluent in English Ability to handle the walking, lifting, bending, stair climbing, and stooping required to perform the job Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs. without assistance Tech savvy and able to operate a Smartphone/GPS device with scanner and team applications Must observe traffic laws and company safety procedures at all times Be able to work 9 - 10 hours per shift We offer Flexible Schedules Medical/Dental Benefits Paid Time Off We are an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.25 per hour Open View public job page Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $23.25 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
