Seasonal Delivery Driver

We are looking for dependable, motivated, and safety-conscious Seasonal Delivery Drivers to join our team during our busy season. As a Seasonal Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages to residential and business customers in a timely, professional, and efficient manner. The ideal candidate is reliable, has a strong work ethic, enjoys working independently, and is committed to providing excellent customer service. This is a fast-paced, physically active position that requires attention to detail, safe driving habits, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a delivery vehicle while following all traffic laws and company safety standards. Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations accurately and on schedule. Load, unload, organize, and secure packages in the delivery vehicle. Follow assigned delivery routes and use GPS or delivery software to navigate efficiently. Properly scan and document all packages, pickups, and deliveries using a handheld device. Provide friendly, professional customer service and handle customer interactions respectfully. Complete assigned pickups and ensure packages are properly processed. Maintain communication with dispatch and management regarding delivery issues, delays, or route concerns. Follow all company procedures for handling packages, including those requiring special care. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized delivery vehicle. Meet daily delivery and performance expectations while prioritizing safety and accuracy. Assist with additional warehouse or operational duties as needed. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record. Ability to pass required background checks and any applicable driving record reviews. Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle. Strong time-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to use a smartphone or handheld scanner for package tracking and delivery documentation. Ability to work in various weather conditions. Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not required. Must be able to communicate effectively and work professionally with customers and team members. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to repeatedly enter and exit a delivery vehicle throughout the workday. Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb stairs as needed. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain. Schedule Seasonal / Temporary employment during the peak delivery season. Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available. Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Start times and daily schedules may vary based on operational needs.
