Seasonal Courier Van Driver — $23.28/hr

Our company is hiring a temporary courier driver in Brandon, MB for up to 12 weeks, depending on business needs. You will run an assigned pick-up and delivery route in a van and look after customers along the way. Hiring includes an interview.
Pay and schedule
- $23.28 per hour
- Seasonal temporary position, up to 12 weeks
- Work days are Monday to Saturday, with a 7:00 am start
What you'll do
...
- Pick up and deliver packages safely and professionally on your assigned route
- Check and sort your packages, then report stop counts and missorts
- Load your van and plan the route for efficient stops
- Keep packages, equipment and the vehicle secure
- Check that shipments and labels meet our company service standards and that paperwork is accurate
- Use the computerized tracking and dispatch systems
- Tell customers about FedEx services and Canadian, US and international shipping requirements
- Pass sales leads to the sales team
- Sometimes help load or unload aircraft or containers and sort and scan packages
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- No experience needed; 1 year in customer service is preferred
- A valid driver's licence (for example Class 5, G or 1 [AZ])
- No more than two violations and/or accidents in the past 24 months
- Pass the required tests and training
- Candidates are assessed on their annual driving record, interview performance and driving assessment results
