Seasonal Cargo Van Driver – FedEx ISP

Job Overview Position: Seasonal Cargo Van Driver Pay: $18.00 per hour Start Dates: Staggered start dates beginning October 26, 2026 Terminal: Durham, NC Service Area: Wake Forest, Youngsville & Rolesville We are hiring reliable, hardworking Seasonal Cargo Van Drivers to join our FedEx Independent Service Provider (ISP) team. Drivers will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering and picking up time-sensitive packages throughout the assigned service area. Job Responsibilities Report to the Durham terminal by 7:45 AM each scheduled workday. Safely operate a company cargo van while following all applicable traffic and safety regulations. Deliver time-sensitive packages first and on time, followed by all other ground packages. Complete assigned delivery routes accurately and efficiently. Make scheduled pickups on time and within the designated pickup window. Handle packages safely, including lifting packages weighing up to 150 lbs. Work independently while maintaining professional and courteous customer service. Continue working until the assigned route is fully completed. Follow all FedEx and company safety, delivery, and customer-service standards. Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records using required technology. Service Area Routes primarily cover: Wake Forest Youngsville Rolesville Pay $18.00 per hour Seasonal position Staggered start dates beginning October 26, 2026 Requirements Must be able to lift and handle packages up to 150 lbs. Must pass a pre-employment drug test. Must pass a background check. Must have a clean, acceptable driving record. Valid driver's license required. Reliable attendance and dependable transportation to the Durham terminal. Ability to work independently and manage a delivery route efficiently. Must be able to work until the route is completed, including days when routes run longer than expected. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to customer service. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, punctual, and understands that on-time delivery is the priority. Experience in delivery, driving, warehouse, logistics, or package handling is helpful but not required if you have the right work ethic and ability to learn.
