At Kuehne+Nagel, our contribution counts in more ways than we imagine. ‎ How you create impact As a Customer Care Specialist, you will serve as a key point of contact for our customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism, responsiveness, and a solutions-oriented mindset. In this role, you will collaborate across multiple teams, resolve customer inquiries and challenges, and contribute to a seamless customer journey while maintaining the highest standards of service excellence. Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels, providing professional, timely, and customer-focused support. Provide accurate information and guidance regarding customer accounts, products, services, shipment status, and company processes. Manage and resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment to ensure a positive customer experience. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Technical Support teams to address customer issues, improve service delivery, and enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of customer interactions, inquiries, resolutions, and follow-up activities in company systems and databases. What we would like you to bring 3+ years of experience in Sea Logistics, including operational and customer-facing responsibilities. Strong knowledge of sea freight operations, shipment management, documentation, and carrier processes. Experience managing customer relationships and serving as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution. Ability to monitor shipment allocations and proactively communicate updates, challenges, and solutions to customers. Experience preparing customer reports, analyzing performance metrics, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for service improvement. Experience creating and delivering customer presentations and business reviews. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem solving. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. Base wage is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
