As a Scrap Metal Route Driver, you'll play a key role in supporting the automotive industry by servicing repair shops and tire stores throughout your route. Complete scheduled pickups efficiently and professionally. Maintain a safe driving record and represent the company positively in the field. Material Handling Load, unload, and secure scrap metal and automotive materials for transport. Handle items such as brake rotors, struts, control arms, exhaust components, and other recyclable automotive materials. Work safely while lifting materials that can range from 5 to 50+ pounds. Customer Service Build positive relationships with store personnel and customers. Serve as the face of Hauling for Hope while providing exceptional service. Reporting & Accountability Complete pickup documentation and route records accurately. Communicate route updates, concerns, or service opportunities to management. Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Dependable and punctual Comfortable working independently Safety-focused Customer-service oriented Physically capable of performing labor-intensive work Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions Looking for a long-term career opportunity Requirements Valid Driver's License CDL Required (Class B or Class A) Clean Driving Record Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to safely lift, load, and unload heavy materials throughout the day Comfortable working outdoors and performing physically demanding work Why Hauling for Hope?
