SCM Demand Planning Supervisor

Job Overview Lead weekly Sales & Operations Planning process from demand consensus building with sales to agreement on supply/inventory plan with senior leadership and factory (In Asia) Participate in the development of inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and ensure product availability across the supply chain. Enhance supply chain management forecast accuracy and provide improved sales forecasts to the Sales Team, driving better demand planning and forecasting outcomes. Optimize demand forecasting accuracy, channel replenishment, and inventory turns across key accounts. Monitor channel pipelines, sell-out deltas, and Weeks of Supply (WOS) to establish balanced inventory targets. Develop and seek improvement of necessary tools to help continually ensure data integrity of inventory, warehouse capacity, shipment tracking, and order fulfillment processes for efficient supply chain operations. Review and approve (as 1 approver) of all Purchase Orders issued to the factory, including products and parts. Analyzing and confirming orders based on inventory needs, sales trends and warehouse capacity. Collaborate with the Warehouse Teams to optimize inbound management, plan for future promotions, manage warehouse capacity, and address excessive stock issues to improve overall operational efficiency. Collaborate with manufacturing sites and ocean/drayage partners to schedule container bookings in alignment with the sales schedule, ensuring timely deliveries. Partner with carriers to enhance service quality and reduce costs for Ocean & Drayage and LTL shipments. Lead the Ocean & Drayage bid process to secure optimal container logistics at competitive rates while providing high-quality drayage services. Keep abreast of changes to industry and identifies potential risks in the supply chain and look to improve processes. Engages in the establishment of process improvement initiatives, including SOP and methodology. Identifies and coordinates top improvement opportunities for the department. Build strong cross-functional relationships and influence business decisions through data-driven Supply Chain insights and collaboration Support management decision-making with relevant Supply Chain data and scenarios . Qualifications 7+ years of experience in professional experience and 5+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, or related supply chain roles, preferably within consumer electronics, or similar industries Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field Strong expertise in end to end supply chain operations, including demand forecasting, production planning, logistics, inventory control, and sales coordination. Inventory planning experience up to 30+ weeks out. Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interface directly with retail partners and senior leadership Proven analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to make sound, data driven decisions in complex and evolving business environments. Microsoft Office proficient, particularly advanced Excel skills.
