School Bus Driver 7D - Special Needs Transportation
LPVECSCHOOL BUS DRIVERS HIRING & TRAINING The LPVEC is dedicated to providing safe and efficient transportation services for students. We are looking for safe, friendly drivers with genuine, caring attitudes for children to join our team of School Bus Drivers. Typical routes are mornings and afternoons each school day and average 20-35 hours per week and overtime available as needed. 1. Must be at least 21 years old. 2. Possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license with a clean driving record for at least three (3) years. 3. Must have a commercial driver's license with a passenger and school bus endorsement or a 7D license. 4. Able to pass DOT or 7D physical exam. 5. Must have dependable transportation to work. 6. Possesses an exceptional attendance record and can work in all weather conditions. 7. The ability to work both independently and in a team environment. 8. Proven ability to relate to and work with a variety of constituencies, including, but not limited to: managers, supervisors, administrators, teachers, other school and collaborative staff members, parents/guardians/caregivers, students, and the general public. 9. Such alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
