ConfidentialScheduler II – Structured Cabling SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler II - Structured Cabling to join our team. This role will perform routine planning and scheduling assignments that require the selection and application of basic scheduling principles and techniques. Location: TBD – location and project will be assigned. This role will require 100% travel on a rotational basis (on average it could be 3-4 weeks on a project site / about 1 week at home. This schedule is an estimate as it is also based on project need) **Traveling opportunities across the U.S. include but not limited to: LA, TX, CA, NM, WY, WI, IN, UT, IL RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with site teams and trade partners in the development of project schedules using common CPM scheduling programs Support supervision through the monitoring and updating of project schedules Assist site management to formulate mitigation plans to correct scheduling problems Assist with proposals and pursuit schedules as needed Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent field 2+ years of construction experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience Experience with Primavera (P6) scheduling software Knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices and company software Basic knowledge of standard construction practices and project sequencing Ability to exercise creativity and mature judgement in anticipating and solving problems Basic plan and specification reading, review and interpretation skills Basic knowledge of project management, contracts and buyout Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutions Results-oriented to ensure delivery of appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete and timely fashion Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback Ability to travel up to 100% Preview experience as a Project Engineer (preferred) A few benefits offered include: (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week,) Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverage Dental plan 401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson match Paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves Employer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insurance No-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resources Tuition reimbursement Adoption Assistance Gym Membership Discount Program The base compensation range for this role is: $89,500 - $120,800. Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skill, and experience with consideration given to internal equity. #LI-JY1 Please make note: Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
