THREE RIVERS ENERGY Job Title: Scale House Operator Reports To: Commodities Manager Exempt: No Revised: 10-28-2026 Job Summary: The Scale House Operator’s primary duty is to perform all grain receiving and shipping transactions, assist the Grain Merchant with customer relations and grain procurement, and to assist Administration Manager with projects and tasks. Responsibilities Develop and maintain Customer relationships Assist in all grain inbound and outbound functions Assist in chemical deliveries Assist in inbound and outbound co-product functions. Assist with logistics for all inbound grain Answer inbound calls from customers Able to multitask with a few customers at the same time Any other tasks as needed Responsible for following food safety regulations and company policies is essential to ensure the integrity of our food-grade production processes. Expectations Weigh trucks accurately and in a timely fashion Comply with and follow all corporate guidelines and policies Establish and maintain the highest integrity of Three Rivers Energy LLC Work with all employees and vendors in a professional and respectful manner Maintain confidentiality of all company information Make TRE guests feel welcome Accurately grade all incoming and outgoing samples Weigh in and out byproduct and chemical trucks. Perform toxin lab testing on inbound corn Education or Regulatory Requirements Ability to get grain graders license Strong customer service skills Strong Computer skills High School Diploma Language Skills Ability to read and communicate effectively in English Ability to effectively communicate with truck drivers as well as other office personnel. Skills or Experience Computer knowledge, proficient with Word and Excel Attention to detail with the ability to self-check work for accuracy, clarity and thoroughness Possess organizational skills necessary to achieve promptness in meeting deadlines Ability to be at work on time Physical Demands Must be able to exert up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and up to 5 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Frequent moderate lifting, pulling, pushing, climbing and carrying Requires both simple and firm grasping and some fine manipulating Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
