Scale House Cashier - Landfill

Duties Process incoming and outgoing vehicles at the landfill scale house using electronic systems and cash registers Collect payments, issue receipts, and manage financial transactions with accuracy and integrity Record vehicle information, waste types, weights, and other relevant data into inventory management software Verify compliance with waste disposal regulations and document necessary details for regulations when applicable Assist customers courteously, answer questions related to landfill procedures, and provide clear instructions for vehicle entry and exit Maintain accurate logs of all transactions, vehicle movements, and operational activities in data entry systems Skills Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for calculating weights, totals, and measurements accurately Ability to perform data entry efficiently while maintaining high accuracy levels in record keeping This role is perfect for individuals passionate about logistics, waste management operations, or who thrive in active environments.
