Scale Clerk

Job Overview As a Scale Clerk, you’ll keep shipment and inventory records accurate while supporting the movement of goods through warehouse operations. You’ll weigh and document incoming and outgoing loads, enter shipment details, and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to keep distribution moving smoothly. Your impact: Accurate weight and shipment records help warehouse teams process orders reliably and give customers clearer, more dependable service. Responsibilities Weigh inbound and outbound shipments, verify load details, and record information using a warehouse management system, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or inventory management software. Complete data entry, review shipping documents, and support shipping and receiving, shipping logistics, and trade compliance with applicable international trade regulations. Coordinate warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, stocking, packaging, and inventory management with warehouse operations teams. Use an order picker, forklift, radio-frequency (RF) scanner, or other equipment as authorized; support order picking and picking and packing. Provide customer service to carriers and internal partners, resolve routine documentation questions, and use Microsoft Office and basic math to check records. Experience Warehouse experience in logistics, shipping and receiving, inventory management, or order fulfillment is helpful. Familiarity with a warehouse management system, inventory management software, ERP systems, or material requirements planning (MRP) is preferred; willingness to learn these tools is valued. Basic math, accurate data entry, attention to detail, and clear communication are important. Forklift or order-picker experience is an asset; operate equipment only when trained and authorized.
