ion planning and execution processes, SAP TM configuration, integrations with other SAP modules, and production support activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of transportation and supply-chain processes and experience working with Freight Units, Freight Orders, Freight Bookings, transportation planning, carrier management, tendering, and freight settlement.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide hands-on functional expertise in SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM).
• Configure and support SAP TM / S/4HANA TM solutions based on business requirements.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand transportation and logistics requirements.
• Support end-to-end transportation planning and execution processes.
• Configure and support Freight Units (FU), Freight Orders (FO), Freight Bookings, and
Transportation Orders.
• Support transportation planning, carrier selection, tendering, and execution processes.
• Configure and support freight settlement and transportation charges.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Support SAP TM integrations with SAP SD, MM, EWM, and S/4HANA.
• Analyze integration issues and coordinate with technical and functional teams for resolution.
• Participate in testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT.
• Prepare functional specifications and documentation when required.
• Support deployments, releases, enhancements, and production stabilization.
• Provide knowledge transfer and support to business and technical teams.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular status updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management.
• Strong understanding of transportation planning and execution.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Freight Units
• Freight Orders
• Freight Bookings
• Transportation Orders
• Experience with freight planning and optimization.
• Experience with carrier selection and tendering.
• Experience with freight settlement / transportation charges.
• Strong understanding of SAP logistics and supply-chain processes.
Experience integrating SAP TM with:
• SAP SD
• SAP MM
• SAP EWM
• SAP S/4HANA
• Experience with SAP TM configuration and production support.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Skills
• Experience working on SAP TM implementation, rollout, enhancement, or migration projects.
• Experience in a manufacturing or supply-chain environment.
• Experience with end-to-end logistics processes.
• Experience supporting SAP TM in production environments.
• Strong documentation and functional specification skills.
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be an experienced SAP TM Consultant who can independently work across transportation planning, execution, freight management, SAP TM configuration, integrations, and production support. Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with business stakeholders are important for this position.
