What You Will Do
Reporting to the Manager, Procurement Systems and Administration, you will serve as the SME for TTC’s Procurement & Category Management (PCM) Department, specializing in SAP ERP systems (S/4HANA and Ariba) and their integration to optimize procurement and contract management processes.
As the SAP SME-Senior Procurement Specialist you will:
Analyze and improve workflows by researching current PCM processes, identifying gaps, and designing enhanced solutions for system functionality, user experience, and reporting.
Gather and validate requirements, prepare functional specifications, and configure SAP S/4HANA and Ariba modules for sourcing, contract lifecycle management, and supplier enablement.
Lead system implementation activities, including feasibility studies, user acceptance testing, quality assurance, and post-go-live support.
Develop governance frameworks and SOPs to ensure compliance with TTC policies, public procurement standards, and audit requirements.
Act as the primary liaison between PCM, ITS, and other stakeholders, providing expert guidance on procurement systems, data governance, and reporting tools.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by tracking KPIs, leveraging analytics platforms (e.g., SAP, Power BI), and recommending strategic enhancements.
Champion change management through training programs, mentoring staff, and supporting digital transformation efforts.
Communicate regularly with leadership on project status, risks, and opportunities, and participate in governance forums and steering committees.
Demonstrate behaviors that support diversity, inclusion, and a respectful work and service environment that is free from discrimination and harassment.
