SAP SCM Consultant

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management) Consultant to join our innovative team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in SAP ERP systems and supply chain processes to optimize logistics, inventory management, and production planning. Duties Analyze current supply chain workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen. Implement and customize SAP SCM modules to align with business needs, ensuring seamless integration with SAP ERP systems. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools like Tableau for real-time data visualization and insights. Conduct quantitative analysis on inventory demand forecasting, production planning, and logistics inventory management to optimize resource allocation. Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and IT teams to streamline supply chain processes and enhance overall efficiency. Utilize SQL and Oracle EBS for data extraction, analysis, and validation to support supply chain analytics initiatives. Lead root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies and develop actionable solutions for continuous improvement. Requirements Proven experience working with SAP SCM modules alongside SAP ERP systems in a manufacturing or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles including demand forecasting, inventory control, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and production planning. Proficiency in data analysis software such as Tableau, Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools to interpret complex datasets effectively. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies including Six Sigma, Lean management, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices. Experience with logistics inventory management, demand planning, supply chain analytics, and inventory demand forecasting. Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives from conception through execution while managing multiple stakeholders. Strong team management capabilities combined with excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration. Knowledge of Oracle EBS or other ERP systems is highly desirable. Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions that drive operational excellence.
