About the Company Company: Aberdeen Advisors LLC Location: United States | Nationwide Travel Engagement: Contract | Approximately 80% Onsite Travel About the Role SAP S/4HANA TM Senior Consultant — National Field Support & Deployment About the Opportunity Aberdeen Advisors is seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Senior Consultant to support a large-scale, multi-site SAP S/4HANA transformation. The consultant will provide functional leadership at assigned deployment sites, resolve complex transportation process issues, and support successful go-live, hypercare, and stabilization activities. This is a hands-on functional consulting role—not a project management or purely technical development position. Responsibilities Serve as the onsite SAP TM functional subject matter expert during deployment, go-live, and hypercare. Troubleshoot transportation planning, freight unit building, freight orders, carrier selection, tendering, and execution processes. Analyze configuration, master-data, and integration issues affecting transportation operations. Support SAP TM configuration corrections and validate changes through the approved change-management process. Investigate end-to-end integration issues involving SAP SD, EWM, MM, and logistics execution. Lead functional defect triage, root-cause analysis, testing, and resolution coordination. Support cutover readiness, deployment validation, and post-go-live stabilization. Guide Super Users and transportation business stakeholders through complex operational issues. Document resolutions, recurring defects, and recommended process improvements. Qualifications Strong hands-on SAP TM functional consulting experience. Deep understanding of transportation planning and execution processes. Demonstrated ability to diagnose configuration and cross-module integration issues. Experience supporting SAP implementations, production deployments, or complex transformation programs. Ability to work independently with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. Willingness to travel approximately 80% to U.S. client sites. Required Skills Strong hands-on SAP TM functional consulting experience. Deep understanding of transportation planning and execution processes. Demonstrated ability to diagnose configuration and cross-module integration issues. Experience supporting SAP implementations, production deployments, or complex transformation programs. Ability to work independently with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. Willingness to travel approximately 80% to U.S. client sites. Preferred Skills 7+ years of relevant SAP functional experience, including substantial SAP TM experience. SAP S/4HANA TM implementation and rollout experience. Multiple successful go-live or hypercare assignments. Experience with freight settlement, transportation charges, optimization, or advanced shipping and receiving. Manufacturing and distribution industry experience. Engagement Details Project-based nationwide SAP S/4HANA program involving multiple deployment waves. Approved travel expenses are covered under program policy. Assignment dates and duration will be confirmed.
