SAP S/4HANA Supply & Production Planning Consultant – Manufacturing

SAP S/4HANA Supply & Production Planning Consultant – Manufacturing Remote 6-12+ Months We are seeking an experienced, hands-on SAP S/4HANA Supply & Production Planning Consultant to help optimize and standardize planning processes across U.S. manufacturing plants. Our client, a global confectionery manufacturer, went live with SAP S/4HANA approximately one year ago. The plants need an experienced planning professional who can combine SAP expertise with practical manufacturing knowledge to improve supply planning, production planning, MRP, master data, and overall adoption of S/4HANA planning capabilities. Key Responsibilities: • Assess current supply and production planning processes and identify gaps • Standardize Supply Planning, Production Planning & MRP best practices • Troubleshoot S/4HANA planning, MRP parameters, lead times, master data and production simulation issues • Improve material planning, production scheduling, procurement and inventory processes • Guide planners on appropriate SAP transactions, tables and planning processes • Coach plant planners and schedulers and drive adoption of standardized processes • Support post-go-live S/4HANA stabilization and optimization • Develop process documentation and deliver user training Required Experience: • Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA Supply / Production Planning experience • Strong SAP PP / MRP expertise • Practical manufacturing and plant-planning experience • Material Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning & Scheduling • MRP parameters, lead times, lot sizing, safety stock & planning master data • Procurement and inventory integration • Experience with process manufacturing – Food, Confectionery, Beverage or CPG strongly preferred • SAP S/4HANA implementation, post-go-live stabilization or optimization experience • Strong stakeholder management, training and change-management skills Highly Preferred: • Previous experience as a Plant Planner, Production Planner, Scheduler or Supply Chain Lead • SAP PP/DS / MRP Live / SAP IBP experience • Food / Beverage / Confectionery / CPG manufacturing experience • Experience improving S/4HANA adoption within manufacturing plants
