SAP S/4HANA SD / Wholesale Lead with Fashion Industry

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) / Wholesale Lead with strong expertise in fashion wholesale business processes. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to support and optimize end-to-end wholesale operations. Experience in the fashion or apparel industry is highly preferred, particularly in managing wholesale sales processes and customer-specific requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead and support SAP S/4HANA SD functional processes for fashion wholesale operations. Manage end-to-end sales order processing, including order creation, changes, confirmations, and order fulfillment. Support product and inventory allocations to meet customer demand and business requirements. Configure and support pricing procedures, condition records, discounts, and customer-specific pricing requirements. Manage Available-to-Promise (ATP) and order confirmation processes to improve order fulfillment. Support outbound delivery processing, shipping, goods issue, and related logistics activities. Oversee billing processes, including invoice generation, billing adjustments, and resolution of billing issues. Manage customer returns, credit/debit processes, and related order-to-cash activities. Configure and maintain customer hierarchies, partner functions, and customer-specific sales settings. Support EDI integrations for wholesale customers, including sales orders, order acknowledgments, advance shipping notices, and invoices. Collaborate with business users, integration teams, and technical teams to resolve functional issues and improve system performance. Participate in requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities. Prepare functional specifications and support testing, documentation, and end-user training as needed. Ensure SAP SD processes align with wholesale business requirements and established operational standards. Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD). Proven experience supporting or implementing fashion, apparel, or retail wholesale business processes. Solid understanding of end-to-end order-to-cash processes. Experience with sales orders, allocations, pricing, ATP, delivery processing, billing, and returns. Knowledge of customer hierarchies, partner determination, and customer-specific sales processes. Experience with EDI transactions and integrations in a wholesale environment. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams. Ability to work onsite in Portland, OR, three days per week. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, enhancements, or production support. Background in fashion, apparel, footwear, or consumer goods wholesale. Experience integrating SAP SD with MM, FI, and warehouse or logistics processes. Familiarity with wholesale customer onboarding, seasonal ordering, and allocation-driven fulfillment. Experience with EDI platforms, interface monitoring, and integration issue resolution. Work Location and Schedule This is a hybrid position based in Portland, Oregon , requiring onsite presence three days per week. Candidates should be able to work onsite according to the agreed hybrid schedule. Expected Start Date November 2–3, 2026 (tentative; subject to confirmation).
