About the Company SAP S/4HANA SD Senior Consultant — Order-to-Cash Deployment & Field Support Company: Aberdeen Advisors LLC Location: United States | Nationwide Travel Engagement: Contract | Approximately 80% Onsite Travel About the Role About the Opportunity: Aberdeen Advisors is seeking an experienced SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Senior Consultant for a major nationwide SAP S/4HANA transformation. This role will provide advanced functional support for order-to-cash processes during site deployment, go-live, and hypercare. The consultant will work directly with client sales operations, distribution, customer service, and project teams to resolve business-critical SAP issues. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities - Serve as the onsite SAP SD functional subject matter expert throughout deployment and stabilization. Support end-to-end order-to-cash processes, including sales orders, pricing, availability checks, delivery processing, shipping, billing, and returns. Diagnose and resolve functional configuration and transaction issues. Troubleshoot pricing procedures, order types, item categories, schedule lines, delivery blocks, and billing errors. Support integration across SAP SD, EWM, TM, MM, and FI. Investigate defects and coordinate approved functional corrections and retesting. Support UAT, cutover planning, data validation, go-live, and hypercare. Partner with Super Users and business process owners to address recurring production issues. Maintain defect documentation, resolution evidence, and operational handoff materials. Qualifications Required Qualifications - Strong hands-on SAP SD functional consulting experience. Deep understanding of order-to-cash business processes and SAP SD configuration. Experience resolving functional issues across sales, shipping, delivery, and billing. Demonstrated experience supporting SAP implementations or major rollout programs. Strong cross-functional troubleshooting and business stakeholder communication skills. Willingness to travel approximately 80% to client sites. Required Skills Strong hands-on SAP SD functional consulting experience. Willingness to travel approximately 80% to client sites. Preferred Skills Preferred Qualifications - 7+ years of relevant SAP SD functional experience. SAP S/4HANA SD implementation, deployment, and hypercare experience. Experience integrating SD with warehouse, transportation, finance, or procurement processes. Experience in complex manufacturing or distribution environments. SAP Activate or SAP certification exposure. Engagement Details - Contract opportunity supporting a multi-wave national SAP S/4HANA rollout. Approved travel expenses are covered under program policy.
