SAP S/4HANA Finance Lead
kcsLocation: Irving, TX (Dallas–Fort Worth Area) Job Type: Contract Work Model: Hybrid / Primarily Remote Job Overview We are seeking a senior SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance Lead to manage the finance workstream for a manufacturing organization's GROW with SAP implementation. The ideal candidate will bring strong SAP Finance functional expertise, hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations, and the ability to lead client workshops, guide solution decisions, and coordinate with offshore delivery teams. This role emphasizes overall finance workstream leadership, with particular focus on revenue recognition and integration with SAP S/4HANA RISE for period-end closing and treasury-related processes. Key Responsibilities Lead the SAP Finance functional workstream throughout the Public Cloud implementation. Engage with business stakeholders to gather finance requirements and translate them into functional solutions. Facilitate client workshops, finance process reviews, and functional design discussions. Provide guidance on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance capabilities within a manufacturing environment. Lead discussions around revenue recognition requirements, process design, and solution implementation. Coordinate integration requirements with SAP S/4HANA RISE, particularly for period-end closing and treasury activities. Work closely with offshore teams on configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and functional deliverables. Review proposed solutions to ensure alignment with business needs and standard SAP Public Cloud functionality. Guide the team on configuration-related decisions and functional implementation activities. Manage workstream deliverables, priorities, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications. Required Qualifications Strong functional experience in SAP Finance, preferably in manufacturing environments. Hands-on implementation experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (GROW with SAP) . At least one completed full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation ; multiple implementations are preferred. Strong understanding of finance processes and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance functionality. Experience with revenue recognition is highly desirable and particularly important for this position. Proven ability to lead client-facing discussions, conduct workshops, and drive functional decisions. Working knowledge of SAP configuration and implementation activities. Experience coordinating with offshore implementation and delivery teams. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with revenue recognition and related financial processes. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA RISE integration for period-end closing and treasury operations. Experience supporting finance transformation projects in manufacturing organizations. SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance certification is a plus but not mandatory. Important: Practical SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation experience is essential. Relevant hands-on project experience is more important than certification. Work Arrangement Location: Irving / Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas. Employment Type: Contract. Work Model: Primarily remote, with onsite attendance potentially required during the initial implementation phase. Candidates must be comfortable leading client discussions and coordinating with offshore delivery teams.
