S/4HANA transformation. This hands-on functional consulting role focuses on warehouse operations, complex issue resolution, deployment readiness, go-live support, and stabilization at manufacturing and distribution facilities.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the onsite SAP EWM functional subject matter expert during warehouse deployment and hypercare.
• Support inbound receiving, putaway, outbound picking, packing, staging, shipping, replenishment, and inventory management.
• Investigate and resolve issues involving warehouse tasks, warehouse orders, handling units, RF processes, and delivery integration.
• Analyze EWM configuration issues involving storage types, warehouse process types, task determination, and operational execution.
• Support troubleshooting of integration with SAP S/4HANA, SD, TM, MM, and PP.
• Coordinate defect triage, root-cause analysis, approved configuration corrections, and testing.
• Participate in functional validation, UAT, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
• Guide Super Users and warehouse personnel through complex processing issues.
• Document recurring issues, resolutions, and operational process improvements.
• Help maintain safe and reliable warehouse business operations during system transitions.
Required Qualifications
• Strong SAP EWM functional consulting and configuration experience.
• Deep understanding of warehouse execution processes in manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Experience troubleshooting inbound/outbound processing, warehouse tasks, inventory movements, and handling units.
• Demonstrated SAP implementation, integration, or production support experience.
• Ability to work closely with warehouse operations and cross-functional project teams.
• Willingness to travel approximately 80% nationwide.
Required Skills
• SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) functional consulting and configuration.
• Warehouse execution processes in manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Troubleshooting inbound/outbound processing, warehouse tasks, inventory movements, and handling units.
• SAP implementation, integration, or production support.
• Collaboration with warehouse operations and cross-functional project teams.
• Ability to travel approximately 80% nationwide.
Preferred Qualifications
• 7+ years of relevant SAP warehouse functional experience, including substantial EWM work.
• SAP S/4HANA embedded or decentralized EWM implementation experience.
• Multiple go-live, rollout, or hypercare assignments.
• Experience with RF, wave management, physical inventory, advanced shipping and receiving, or EWM/TM integration.
• High-volume distribution center or manufacturing warehouse experience.
Engagement Details
• Multi-wave nationwide SAP S/4HANA deployment.
• Approved travel expenses are covered under program policy.
• Project assignment dates and duration will be confirmed.
