The Baer Group**Federal Project - Applicant must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust** Baer is looking for SAP PP QM Functional Consultant for a 12 month Federal Project located in Kansas City, MO Title: SAP PP QM Functional Consultant Location: Hybrid - Kansas City, MO Duration: 12 months Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed Alignment: W2 or C2C Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Functional Consultant to support the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) solutions. The consultant will focus on S/4HANA Greenfield implementations, manufacturing execution, and integration of PP with QM and other business processes. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP QM expertise, solid PP experience, and a proven understanding of manufacturing processes and system integration. Description: Lead SAP PP/QM solution design, configuration, and implementation for S/4HANA Greenfield projects. Develop and deliver Production Planning demonstrations and explain business benefits to clients. Gather business requirements and translate them into effective SAP functional solutions. Design and optimize manufacturing processes across Production Planning and Quality Management. Configure and support integration between PP and QM, including quality inspections and manufacturing execution processes. Support cross-functional integration with EWM, Project Systems, Sales Orders, and external manufacturing systems. Integrate SAP PP with third-party quality and MES systems such as Solumina. Partner with technical teams to ensure solutions meet functional and business requirements. Perform business process analysis, system analysis, fit-gap assessment, and solution design. Coordinate with Architects, Developers, BASIS, Middleware, Portal, and Business Analyst teams. Define test strategies, test scenarios, and manage complex SIT/UAT and end-to-end testing. Support enhancements, interfaces, integrations, and production planning solutions. Design solutions supporting Made-to-Order (MTO) manufacturing and manufacturing execution. Work with demand sources including Project Systems, Sales Orders, and Planned Independent Requirements (PIRs). Provide functional leadership, mentoring, and training to junior team members. Support deployment, issue resolution, cutover, and post-go-live activities. Requirements: 7+ years of SAP Quality Management (QM) experience. 3+ years of SAP Production Planning (PP) experience. 3+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience. Strong experience with SAP QM and PP integration in manufacturing environments. Hands-on experience implementing core SAP Production Planning, rather than primarily SAP IBP or APO. Experience with S/4HANA Greenfield implementations. Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes and manufacturing execution. Experience with requirements gathering, process design, configuration, testing, and deployment. Experience working with cross-functional SAP teams and technical stakeholders. Strong communication, client-facing, problem-solving, and team leadership skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
