**Federal Project - Applicant must be a United States Citizen with Active Secret Clearance** Baer is looking for SAP MRP Inventory Management Design SME for a 3+ month Federal remote project. Title: SAP MRP Inventory Management Design SME Location: Remote (Must be based in US) Duration: 3 months Rate: All-inclusive Alignment: W2 or C2C Overview Join a multi-year DoD SAP S/4HANA modernization program supporting the enterprise transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. We are seeking experienced SAP functional consultants with Active Secret Clearance to help drive data conversion governance, cross-functional business process integration, Federal audit and compliance requirements, and cutover readiness. Ideal candidates have hands-on SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA experience, a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, and experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations in Federal or DoD environments. Description: Lead future-state design and validation for SAP MRP and Inventory Management. Design material planning, replenishment, inventory, and stock-management processes in S/4HANA. Define and validate MRP Areas across plants, storage locations, and planning structures. Translate business requirements into SAP standard functionality and solution designs. Validate integration with Procurement, Warehouse, Production, and Supply Chain processes. Identify and document gaps, dependencies, assumptions, impacts, and design decisions. Develop process flows, functional designs, data requirements, and test scenarios. Collaborate with business, functional, technical, data, and architecture teams. Assess impacts on inventory visibility, planning parameters, replenishment, and stock movements. Support design governance, issue resolution, and Navy supply-chain transformation. Requirements: Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA MRP and Inventory Management design and configuration experience, including MRP Areas, replenishment, material planning, stock management, and inventory control. Proven experience in future-state process design, solution validation, design workshops, and translating business requirements into SAP functional solutions. Strong understanding of integration across MRP/IM, Procurement, Warehouse Operations, Production Planning, EWM, Transportation, and downstream execution. Experience documenting process flows, functional designs, design decisions, gaps, data requirements, and test scenarios. Excellent workshop facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams. Experience with SAP IBP and/or SAP Enterprise Supply Planning (eSPP) preferred. Experience with SAP Defense & Security (D&S) and DoD, Federal, Navy, or government supply-chain/logistics environments preferred. Experience supporting large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation or modernization programs preferred. Minimum interim Secret DoD clearance required.
