Sap Materials Management Consultant

Columbus, OH or Battle Creek, MI Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday-Thursday) TRC Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading SAP and supply chain consulting organization to hire an SAP MM / Procurement Functional Consultant . This role will support mission-critical SAP S/4HANA environments, providing hands-on configuration, procurement process support, and system optimization within a highly collaborative, client-facing consulting environment. Responsibilities Configure and support SAP MM and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes within SAP S/4HANA. Lead configuration changes, impact assessments, and system enhancements. Support purchasing, requisitions, purchase orders, vendor management, and procurement workflows. Facilitate Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and support configuration baseline management activities. Review engineering and business change requests and assess impacts to system configurations. Troubleshoot posting errors, data discrepancies, and procurement-related system issues. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions. Partner with ABAP developers and cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues. Develop functional specifications, process documentation, and configuration documentation. Support audit readiness, compliance initiatives, and continuous process improvements. Requirements U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. 4+ years of hands-on SAP MM functional configuration experience; 6-10 years preferred. Proven experience working within an SAP S/4HANA environment. Strong knowledge of Purchasing, Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Vendor Management, and Procure-to-Pay processes. Experience performing SAP configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and support activities. Strong business process analysis and requirements gathering skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting federal, defense, logistics, or supply chain organizations. Experience with SAP modernization or transformation initiatives.
