mplementation roadmap, working under and alongside the client's IBP Practice Lead.
This phase is design only, with no configuration. The client would like the same architect to continue into implementation, with a possible short gap between phases.
Responsibilities
• Co-facilitate on-site design workshops with business stakeholders
• Co-lead design of demand planning, supply planning and S&OP processes
• Lead integration design between IBP and S/4HANA (CI / RTI) and assess master data readiness
• Document AS-IS and TO-BE processes, requirements, decisions and gaps, using existing templates to maintain requirements traceability
• Categorize exceptions to standard functionality, recommend custom approaches within IBP where feasible, and flag items as out of scope where not
• Put process before system: anchor design decisions in business process rather than tool capability
• Write sections of the future-state blueprint, including implementation effort estimates and the roadmap
• Work independently while staying closely aligned with the IBP Practice Lead, and contribute hands-on if the engagement continues into implementation
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of SAP supply chain planning consulting, including 5+ years on SAP IBP
• 3+ full-cycle IBP implementations, with at least two as solution lead
• Strong, hands-on expertise in IBP Demand, Supply and S&OP
• Process manufacturing or chemicals industry experience
• Strong workshop facilitation and documentation skills
• Highly organized, self-directed and able to manage deliverables independently
• US-based and able to travel
Preferred Qualifications
• SAP IBP certification
• Experience migrating a client from Excel-based planning to IBP
• Availability for the implementation phase, contingent on strong performance in workshops
