Duties Lead the design and implementation of SAP Ariba solutions aligned with client requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing ERP systems such as SAP ECC or S/4HANA. Develop and customize SAP Ariba modules by configuring workflows, catalogs, contracts, and sourcing projects to optimize procurement processes. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure high-quality deployment of SAP Ariba applications. Integrate SAP Ariba with other enterprise systems using RESTful APIs, web services, and middleware tools like MuleSoft or Dell Boomi for comprehensive system interoperability. Manage version control and configuration management using tools such as Git or SVN to maintain code integrity throughout development cycles. Provide technical troubleshooting support for complex issues involving system architecture, network configurations (VPNs, firewalls), cloud security (AWS), and system hardening measures. Experience Proven experience working as an SAP Ariba Technical Consultant or in a similar role supporting enterprise procurement solutions. Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture, and systems integration principles. Hands-on experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps. Expertise in database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra; proficient in SQL scripting for data analysis and troubleshooting. Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS or Azure along with virtualization technologies like VMware or ESXi for scalable deployment environments. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash shell scripting, PowerShell, and JavaScript for automation tasks. Strong background in IT infrastructure components including load balancing (F5), network protocols (DNS, DHCP), operating systems (Windows/Linux), and security frameworks (firewalls, VPNs). Excellent business analysis skills with the ability to perform requirements analysis and translate business needs into technical specifications. Effective cross-functional communication skills to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders seamlessly.
