Sample Room Accociate

Job Summary As a Sample Room Associate, you’ll keep sample materials organized and updated. You’ll support order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping and receiving by picking, packing, and handling sample materials safely. Your impact: Accurate sample handling helps Sales Representatives and customers receive the right items in good condition and on time. Primary Job Duties: · Answer phone and emails in a timely manor · Receiving memos by vendors · Receive emails for sample request using the sample room email inbox ·Enter Sample request in company system (monday.com) · Pull and file wallcovering samples · Fulfill sample requests daily for same day sampling · Ship samples of wallcovering in a timely manner · Perform in a manner that will prevent errors & omissions · Confirming shipments to customers & sales representatives · Order shipping & office supplies · Prepare satellite office files for new product · Archive discontinued patterns · Maintain inventory records · Answering phone calls at receptionist desk as needed · Labeling/cutting/printing/assembling samples Other Job Duties: · Other duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications: Minimum High School diploma or equivalent 1-2 years prior office experience Creative Design experience preferred Ability to distinguish detailed color and pattern variations Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, & helpful) Strong oral & written communication skills Accuracy & attention to detail Multi-task-oriented PC Literate – Word, Excel, Outlook Skill & ability to organize & prioritize work & meet daily deadlines Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically Ability to bend or reach for long periods of time Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: Data entry: 1 year (Required) shipping Samples: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
